Other Abstract: | The article provides the background of educational technology and its various definitions. Then, instructional technology is discussed in detail as a set of educational technology. However, the emphasis is on the term “technology” which refers to many things. In summary, educational technology is an instructional system development in which learning development and evaluation process in defined and learning recourses and teaching modes are considered. In order to understand what is in the field of educational technology, we can also consider the divisions of Association for Educational Communication and Technology (AECT) and the various positions held by personnel in educational technology field. |
